Astro the Steller sea lion makes his public debut at Mystic Aquarium – NBC, Today Show. Astro, was rescued from Año Nuevo Island in June 2006. Just days old, his mother was nowhere to be found, so he was brought to the Center where staff and volunteers cared for him. You can read more about Astro’s stay at the Center on our website here.
